The Asagao Concept

Asagao — Morning Glory

This is a flower that blooms in the morning and fades by midday. It is often associated with a Japanese tea ceremony idiom Ichigo Ichie or “一期一会” , translated roughly as “once in a life time”. I take each of our encounter as a treasure and something that can’t be repeated. This flower is my reminder that I shouldn’t take each moment for granted.
